belies the reach of Cendant, which has grown in the past seven
years through a raft of acquisitions, starting with three powerful
franchise brands--Century 21, ERA and Coldwell Banker--and its
foray into acquiring brokerage companies. The company’s
brokerage-acquisition and ownership subsidiary, NRT, Inc., has
grown in the last five years from 370 offices to more than 950
offices with 50,000 real estate sales associates.
